WINDSOR, March 13 (CP)- - Mrs. Florence K. McHugh, prominent social worker and wife of Gerald McHugh, K. C., well-known barrister here, died at her home yesterday.

Mrs. McHugh Is Stricken
Barrister's Wife Ill for Several Weeks
Mrs. Florence Krug McHugh, well known in Windsor social and community circles and wife of Gerald McHugh, KC. died yesterday at her Victoria Ave. after illness of several weeks.
HERE 22 YEARS
A resident of Windsor for 22 years Mrs. McHugh was active in many phases of welfare and service work in the city and was a willing worker in many drives and such activities.
Mrs. McHugh charter member of the May Court Club and served as its first secretary. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church and prominent in the work of the Catholic Women's League of that parish.
Mrs. McHugh's most recent activities were devoted to war service work. She was regular Red Cross worker at the prisoner-of-war packing plant and performed other duties of service for the society. She was also active in the Windsor Active Service Club, serving on the entertainment committee.
An ardent and skilful golfer, Mrs. McHugh was a member of Beach Grove and Essex golf clubs. She had held club championships at both courses.
KITCHENER NATIVE
Born at Kitchener. Mrs. McHugh the daughter of the late Hartman Krug, pioneer and prominent furniture manufacturer of that district. Her mother is still resident there.
After attending Kitchener schools Mrs. McHugh went to Villa Maria Convent at Montreal and later Donald Hall Guelph. She came to Windsor in 1922 upon her marriage Mr. McHugh.
Also surviving are two daughters Mary Louise and Florence Krug McHugh at home; three sisters Mrs. Harold Wurster of Grosse Pointe, Mrs. Leo McLaughlin, Toronto and Mrs William Roos, Kitchener, and four brothers, R. W. Krug president of the H. Krug Furniture Company, Limited, Henry general manager of the Doon Twines Limited: Harvey, and H John Krug, vice-president of the furniture company, all of Kitchener.
FUNERAL TOMORROW
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 am. in St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will be in Kitchener on Wednesday. Prayers will be said at the home this evening.
Active pallbearers will be Magistrate J. Arthur Hanrahan, Judge A. J. Gordon. L. A. McHugh, John D. Chick. C. H. Smith, H. J. Mero, C. E. Platt and R. J. McCarron.
