  Michigan. NILES-John Bowie, 77, died at 10:20 o'clock Thursday night in his home, 906 Fort street. He was born Aug. 13, 1858, in Detroit [Ontario]and had lived in Niles since last June. Mr. Bowie was formerly editor of the Wheatfield, Ind., newspaper. The South Bend Tribune (South Bend, IN) - 06 Mar 1936, Fri, Page 30 ________________ Prayer services for John Bowie. who died Thursday night in his home, 906 Fort street, Niles, Mich.. will be held at 7:30 o'clock central standard time, this evening in the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. F. Casper, 1225 East Corby boulevard, this city, and funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock central standard time, Sunday afternoon in the First Christian church in Knox, Ind.
