NILES-John Bowie, 77, died at 10:20 o'clock Thursday night in his home, 906 Fort street. He was born Aug. 13, 1858, in Detroit [Ontario]and had lived in Niles since last June. Mr. Bowie was formerly editor of the Wheatfield, Ind., newspaper.

Prayer services for John Bowie. who died Thursday night in his home, 906 Fort street, Niles, Mich.. will be held at 7:30 o'clock central standard time, this evening in the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. F. Casper, 1225 East Corby boulevard, this city, and funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock central standard time, Sunday afternoon in the First Christian church in Knox, Ind.
