Notes |
- Death of Thomas Robson - The death took place at Bright on Friday, Dec. 2nd, of Mr. Thomas Robson, in his 83rd year. Deceased was born on the Robson homestead adjoining Ayr, but spent much the greater part of his life on a farm near Bright. A noticeable co-incidence was the death on the same day of his sister-in-law, Mrs. (Rev.) Alex. R. Robson. Mr. Robson was a valued member of the Presbyterian Church at Chesterfield and was a worker in church circles. In politics he was a staunch Liberal, and was highly esteemed in the community as a man of sterling integrity. One son, Mr. Mack Robson, Blenheim, and four daughters survive; also a brother, Mr. Michael Robson, Vancouver, and a sister, Mrs. And. McRae, Glenmorris. The funeral; took place on Monday, when interment was made in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
