  Karon passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with C.J.D. on Thursday, aged 70. Beloved best friend and soulmate of Laraine Burley for 30 years. Sister of Morgan Strassburger (Grace), Audrey Arnold, Barb Main (Dave), Eleanor Herkert (Dieter), Ruby Kurt (Larry Smuck), twin sister of Clifford Strassburger (Kathy), Robert Strassburger (Jan), and Deborah Sperling (Tom). Predeceased by her parents Morgan and Estella Strassburger, sister Marjorie Thompson (Wayne), and brothers Albert (Nancy) and Dennis (Anne). Sister-in-law of Nancy Strassburger (late Albert) and Anne Strassburger (late Dennis), Christine Burley, Mark Burley (Janet) and Lynn Kreitzer (Tony). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Karon was a long time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She retired from Lear Seating after 33 years of service. Her family received relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral service took place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 followed by a reception. Pastor Mark Ehlebracht officiated.
