  • Notes
    • In Galt, on Tuesday, 15th instant, at 2 o'clock, p.m., Mr. James Craig, Painter, son of the late Mr. Robert Craig, Raphoe, Co. Donegal, Ireland, aged 62 years.

By the death of Mr. Craig, Galt loses one of its oldest and best known inhabitants. He came to Galt in the year 1835, and has resided here - with a short exception - steadily since that time. Mr. Craig was universally respected, and his death leaves a blank in our midst that will long be felt.
