      Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Ken Farr. age 78 years, of Elmira. Beloved husband of Marion (Collins) Farr for 57 years; loving father of Marilyn and Don McIntosh of Drayton, Jerry and Marg of Stittsville, Wayne and Barb of Kelowna, B.C., Russell and Sharon of Elmira, Larry and Dawn of Elmira, Debbie Farr and Jim of Elmira, Cheryl Farr of Kitchener, Torn and Liz of Waterloo: fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Brother of Audrey MacDonald of Hamilton. Predeceased by his parents, Norman and Jessie Farr: daughter, Colleen: two brothers, Gerald and Gordon. Ken was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 469, Elmira, he was involved in the Standardbred race horse industry and for many years was involved with many aspects of local hockey. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Friday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m., Saturday, transfer will be made to Trinity United Church, Elmira, for funeral service at 11 a.m., with The Rev. J. D. Kellough officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
