  Henry Schedewitz The sudden death of Henry Schedewitz, R.R. 4, Elmira, occurred shortly before noon Wednesday as the result of a stroke the same morning. News of his death came as a shock to many Elmira and district residents, as Mr. Schedewitz had been in good health previous to Wednesday. He was born on the farm where he resided at death on Sept. 23, 1889, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schedewitz. He was married in 1919 to Edna Hartwig, who survives with three sons, Hilbert, Oscar and Earl. Three brothers, John, who resides on the same farm, William of Elmira and Albert of Hesson, and one sister, Mrs. Oscar Christman, R.R. 4, Elmira, also survive. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., with English service at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Elmira, at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be made at the Elmira cemetery.
