  Mrs. Grace Strome Passes Mrs. Grace Strome, 75, passed away on Monday at Hilltop Manor, Galt, following a lengthy illness. Born at Linwood on April 17, 1890, she lived in Detroit for a number of years prior to moving to Galt 20 years ago. Surviving are a son, Woodrow of Woodstock; two sisters, Mrs. Reba Sherrer of Galt and Mrs. Evelyn Harmer of Plattsville. Funeral service was held Tuesday at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, Galt, with interment in Hawkesville Cemetery. Rev. Arthur Lewis of Lincoln Ave. United Church officiated. Pallbearers were: Rex Harmer, Terry Harmer, Clair Harmer, Jack Harmer, Gerald Harmer and Gary Graham. The Ayr News Nov 4 1965 pg 9
