  REIST, Saloma (Mrs. Eli K.) - Peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2007, at Countryview Retirement Home. Saloma (Schallhorn) Reist in her 91st year, formerly of RR 2, Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Eli K. Reist (1990). Dear mother of Viola Brubacher (Harvey) of RR 1, Wallenstein, Edward Reist (Martha) of RR 4, Listowel, Elsie Martin (Osiah) of RR 2, Wallenstein, and Nelson Reist (Lizzie) of RR 1, Elmira. Also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Sister and sister-in-law of Melinda Eby of Elmira, Edna Horst of Wallenstein, Salome Reist of RR 2, Elmira and Reuben Bauman of RR 3, Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents, Josiah and Elizabeth (Lichty) Schallhorn; her son, Edgar, one brother and two sisters. Friends may call at the home of Harvey Brubacher, RR 1, Wallenstein (4400 Posey Line), today (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. A family service will be held at the home of Paul Reist, RR 2, Elmira on Wednesday morning, June 6, 2007 at 9 a.m. then to the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
