  Mrs. Thomas C. Main After a stroke, which came suddenly the previous evening, Mrs. Thomas C. Main of Pilkington Township, passed away on Monday morning. Mrs. Main had been at Bethel United Church and after returning home a stroke came on suddenly from which she did not rally. Mrs. Main, who was about fifty years of age, was formerly Emma Stange of Pilkington Township and early in 1908 was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas C. Main. She was a member of the Bethel United Church and among the most highly respected residents of the community and her passing will be greatly felt in the neighborhood where she had resided practically all her life. Besides a sorrowing husband she leaves a family of two daughters and one son; Ive (Mrs. Allen Eix) of Woolwich Township and Dorothy and Clifford at home. There are also two sisters and one brother surviving; Mrs. W. J. Main of Kitchener, Mrs. Addison Miller and John Stange of Pilkington Township. The funeral took place this (Thursday) afternoon from her late home, the remains being interred in the Elmira cemetery.
