    • Death of Mrs. James Woods

      After many weary months of suffering, borne with Christian fortitude and womanly heroism, this lady passed to her rest on Tuesday morning last. Her funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, and was very largely attended by friends in Galt and other places desirous of expressing their sympathy with the sorrowing family. As a mark of respect the stores were closed during the time of the funeral. The floral decorations sent by friends and the teachers in the Sunday school were most beautiful.
