  BOWMAN, Delton - Passed away, on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Delton resided in New Hamburg and was formerly of RR 2, New Hamburg where he had a dairy farm. He also worked as a parts manager for a number of farm equipment dealers in the area until his retirement. He was born 83 years ago in Wilmot township and was the son of the late Aaron S. and Selinda (Cressman) Bowman. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Brenneman) Bowman who predeceased him December 22, 2002. Loving father of Lynda Reier of Waterloo, Paul and Dorothy Bowman of Baden, Kathy and Ron Nafziger of Brunner and Jim and Sue Bowman of Ayr. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kristen and Mark, Phil, Jon, Jennie, Matt, Mark, Aaron and Natalie, and Megan; and also his great-granddaughter Kailey Anne Falkenberger. Dear brother of Anna Bowman of Kitchener. Also remembered by his mother-in-law, Reta Gingerich of New Hamburg; brothers-in-law, Ray and Nelda Brenneman of New Hamburg, Walter and Arlene Brenneman of Kitchener, Keith Reier; and a number of nieces and nephews. Delton was predeceased by Stanley and Lillian Bowman, Mary Bowman and Helen Brenneman. Delton was an active member of Wilmot Mennonite Church and very much enjoyed his volunteer activities in New Hamburg. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg Monday, December 8, 2008 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Delton's life will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Wilmot Mennonite Church with Pastor David Rogalsky officiating. A private family interment will take place prior to the memorial service. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation (to support research in the areas of pulmonary fibrosis and lung transplant) or Mennonite Central Committee.
