  Mrs. Catherine Reidel PRESTON - One of Preston's oldest citizens, Mrs. Catherine Reidel, 86, widow of Peter Reidel, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Rudolph, 134 Church St. Mrs. Reidel suffered a stroke on Sunday. Born in St. Agatha she was married in St. Clement's RC Church to Peter Reidel, who predeceased her two years ago. She came to Preston 60 years ago. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church. Surviving are two sons, Frank, Hamilton, Harold, Preston; two daughters, Mrs. S. J. (Hilda) Kanmacher, Preston and Mrs. J. (Laura) Rudolph, Preston. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home until Friday morning, with funeral service at St. Clement's RC Church at 9: 30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Clement's RC Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 19 Nov 1952 pg 5
