- REICHARD, Laurant - Suddenly, at his residence, on Saturday, August 12, 1978. Laurant Reichard of 201 Chapel St., Kitchener, age 65 years. Born in Fordwich, a son of the late Oliver Reichard and Mary Stewart. A member of Trinity United Church and the Mr. and Mrs. Club of the church. He was also a member of the Retired Professional Businessmen's Club. During the Second World War he served over-seas as an artillery officer for 21/2 years. Mr. Reichard was a mathematics teacher for many years at Kitchener-Waterloo collegiate and vocational school. Husband of Velma Richardson; father of Richard of Conestogo; brother of Stewart of Elmira and Mrs. Olive Beckett of Simcoe; also surviving is one grand-daughter, Becky. Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until noon on Tuesday, when removal was made to Trinity United Church for the funeral and committal service at 2 p.m., with Dr. E.E. Kent officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery.
