  Shug [sic] - At New Hamburg, May 11th, Mrs. Catharine Shuh, relict of the late Jacob Shuh, aged 77 years, 2 months and 21 days. The Chronicle Telegraph, 21 May 1908, p. 8 __________ DIED - Mrs. Catharine Schuh an old resident of this town, passed away on Monday morning at the home of Mr. Fred Koehler at the advanced age of 77 years, 2 months and 21 days. Deceased was born in Hessia, Germany, and came with her husband, Mr. Jacob Schuh, to New Hamburg about 50 years ago, and had since resided here. Her husband and her two daughters, Mrs. Schneller and Mrs. John Brandau, predeceased her many years ago. She is survived by two grandchildren, Catharine Brandau, of Meadock, Mich., and Mr. Schneller, of Mannheim. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon to the Lutheran church and thence to Riverside Cemetery. Hamburg Independent 1 May 1908 _____________ DIED.
