  Mrs. Anna Ford Mrs. Anna Jane Ford, a resident of Elmira for the past 46 years, died at St. Joseph's hospital, Guelph, on Thursday evening. In her 79th year, Mrs. Ford was born on the Eighth of Peel. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brooks and widow of the late J. W. Ford, who predeceased her in 1926. A lover of flowers, the late Mrs. Ford was one of the founders of the Elmira Horticultural Society. Her garden was one of the beauty spots of Elmira. She was a member of the United church and Ladies' Aid. The late Mrs. Ford was twice married, her first husband being George Stickney. Surviving children of her first marriage are John E. Stickney, High Bluff, Man.; Wilbert W. Stickney who resides in the United States, and Josephine R. (Mrs. John R. Hedrich), Elmira. Gladys Lidella Ford died in childhood. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from Dreisinger's Funeral Chapel. Interment was made in the Elmira Cemetery. Pall-bearers were two grandchildren and four nephews, Harry and Clare Hedrich, Russell Thackery, Roy Stickney, Gordon and Ellwyn Cherry.
