- Amandus Herz
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 3 pm the Good Funeral Chapel in Waterloo for Amandus Herz of Toronto, formerly of waterloo. He died Monday at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 86. Burial will be in Elmira Union Cemetery.
Mr. Herz was a former leader of the Elmira Town Board, and choirmaster at St. James and St. Paul's Churches in Elmira.
He was the father of Herman of Toronto; brother of Reinhold and Minnie (Mrs. V. Moyer) of Waterloo; grandfather of two.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Herz; his wife, the former Stella Stumpf, a daughter, Paula; two brothers and two sisters.
