- OTTO STUMPF
Otto Stumpf, 61, of 3 Ernst St., Elmira, died April 1 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He had been employed at the Merchants Rubber Co. in Kitchener until three years ago. Mr. Stumpf was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stumpf of Woolwich Township. He attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira. Surviving are his wife, the former Edna Ernst, a son Howard, of Kitchener, two daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Alice) Parker of Elmira, and Miss Mae Stumpf at home; three brothers, Caspar of Elmira, Harry of Meaford, and Conrad of Kitchener, also seven sisters, Mrs. Simon Schedewitz, Mrs. Frederick McAuley, Mrs. A. Alger, Mrs. Arthur Beilstein, all of Kitchener, Mrs. John Hilgardner of Preston, Mrs. John Miller of Elmira and Mrs. A. Hertz of Waterloo. Four grandchildren also survive.
Remains rested at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel, Elmira, where funeral service were held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Burial was made in Elmira Cemetery. Rev. F. P. Malinsky officiated.
