    • David Ziegler, 85, of Elmira, died Monday at a Guelph nursing home following a lengthy illness. He was born April 17, 1860, at St. Jacobs. The late Mr. Ziegler attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira.

      Surviving are two sons, Addison of Kitchener and Andrew of Elmira; five daughters, Mrs. L. W. (Florence) Koser, Winnipeg, Mrs. Clara Evers, Guelph, Mrs. Minnie Witter, Galt, Mrs. Otto (Thelma) Wille, St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Walter (Verina) Sutton, Kitchener; two brothers, William, Elkton, Mich., and Charles, Akron, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Soehner, Kitchener and Mrs. Charles Soehner, Elkton, Mich. His wife predeceased him in 1926. Two sons and a daughter also predeceased him. Seven grand children and three great-grandchildren also survive.

      Remains are resting at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel, Elmira, from where the funeral service will be held. on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. Burial will be made in Elmira Cemetery. Rev. F. Malinsky will officiate.
