• Notes

  Mrs. David Ziegler passed away at her home at 31 Factory street on Monday, May 17, after a severe and lingering illness which extended over a period of 19 months. She was born in September 1866. a mile and a half from Elmira, being the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Randall. Her whole life practically was spent in this community, she having lived this 44 years at her home on Factory street. She is survived by her husband, and out of a family of ten children, eight are living. They are: Addison of Kitchener; Florence (Mrs. Koser) of Winnipeg; Andrew of El mira; Clara (Mrs. Evers) of Guelph Minnie (Mrs. Witter) of Kitchener; Thelma (Mrs. Halliday) at home; Verna (Mrs. Sutton) of Kitchener and Ruth of Toronto. She also leaves her aged father, John Randall, of Elmira; two sisters, Mrs. Willian Wilken of Elmwood, Neb.. and Mrs. Henry Kraft of Elmira; and one brother Jacob Randall of Preston, besides six grandchildren. The funeral was held from her late residence on Thursday, at two o clock to St. Paul's Lutheran church and thence to St. James's cemetery for interment.
