  HANOVER _ Charles William Zilliax, 66, of 320 Seventh Ave., Hanover, who retired as manager of the Royal Bank branch here in 1953, died today at his home after an illness of two months.Mr. Zilliax was born in Elmira Aug. 23, 1893, son of the late Henry Zilliax and Catherine Lein. He served the bank in many Ontario communities, including 13 years here.He was president of the Red Cross Society branch here, a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and secretary-treasurer of the local branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society. He was also a member of the Rotary Club. Mr. Zilliax is survived by his wife, the former Henrietta Louise Peine, whom he married June 28, 1937, at New Hamburg. He was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters.The body will be at the Stahle Funeral Home here until Wednesday at 9: 30 a.m., then at the Futher Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg, where the funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev.
