- WIARTON-Word Was received here Sunday of the sudden death of Mrs. (Dr.) Hay in Florida, where the family has been spending the winter months. They left for the South about a month ago and she was in excellent health and spirits.

MRS. HAY OF WIARTON DIED IN THE SOUTH
Well Known Wiarton Lady Succumbed When Operation Failed to Save Life
WIARTON, Ont., Dec, 30-A telegram was received here yesterday mornig conveying the sad news of the death of Mrs. (Dr.) Hay in a hospital at West Palm Beach. Florida, following an operation for acute indigestion. Mr and Mrs. Hay with their son Harold left Wiarton early in December for the south and Mrs. Hay was in excellent health at that time. She leaves to mourn besides her husband and son a mother and three sisters in Kitchener. Mrs. Kalbflesch, Mrs. Boehner, and Mrs. Hathaway and a brother at Grand Rapids, Mich. Mrs. Hay was formerly Miss Belle Rose.
The body will be brought to Kitchener for burial.
