- A Sad Message.
It was a message of sad import that came over the wires from Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dunke last Saturday evening, the message announcing the death of their daughter Lizzie, Mrs. Adam Steinacker. Death came under peculiarly sad circumstances being caused by a hemorrhage. No one here had received any previous word of her illness, and the news came as a thunderbolt from a clear sky, being a particularly severe blow to the mother, who is naturally of a nervous temperament and not very robust in health. Mr. and Mrs. Dunke, Mr. A. K. Dunke, Mrs. Geo. Ratz and Mrs. Feick went over to Chicago on Monday to be present at the burial, which took place on Tuesday. Deceased was a kind and genial disposition and made many friends; and her departure will be regretted by all who had the good fortune to be acquainted with her. The bereaved families have the sympathy of a wide circle of relatives and friends. A sorrowing husband mourns an affectionate wife and two children-one a newborn babe-are left without a loving mother's care. Truly, "God moves in a mysterious way."
