  LORCH, Ruth Elaine - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday August 2, 2003, in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the Rev. Ab Lorch; loving mother of Brian and his wife Rhonda (Winnipeg), Susan McDermott and her husband Bud (Toronto) and Nancy Robson and her husband Craig (Ayr). Special Grandma to Andrew, Jenn, Ryan, Kate, Matthew, Meaghan, Kelsey and Kevin. Predeceased by her parents, Edmond and Hilda (Strome) Klink; brother, Frank; sister, Helena and daughter-in-law, Lois (Haak) Lorch. Together with her husband, she served congregations in Petawawa/ Alice, Chesley/Bentinck Township, Toronto, Sault Ste. Marie and Kitchener. Always concerned for her family, Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Cardiac Fitness Association, and served as secretary for several years. Ruth's family will receive friends Tuesday, August 5th at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church Street, Kitchener (742-4481) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Ruth's life at Reformation Lutheran Church, 456 Krug St. Kitchener, Wednesday, August 6th at 2 p.m.
