    • Mrs. Lydia Miller

      ELMIRA\emdash Mrs. Lydia Miller, 93, of 10 Park Ave., Elmira, died Wednesday at Elmira Private Hospital after a short illness. Born Sept. 28, 1860, near Elmira, she was the former Lydia Beisel, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beisel. She was the last surviving member of the family. Mrs. Miller was a lifelong member of St. James's Lutheran Church, Elmira. Surviving are two sons, Charles, Kitchener; Edward, Waterloo; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Schneider and Mrs. Sulama Kirschel, both of Elmira; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her husband, John W. Miller, died in 1931. A daughter predeceased her in 1927. The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2: 30 p.m. at St. James's Lutheran Church with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. H. W. Baetz will officiate.
