  ERB, Mary Elizabeth (Gingrich) - Passed away, peacefully, on Thursday October 23, 2003, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Mary Erb, of New Hamburg. She was born 77 years ago in Kokomo, Indiana a daughter of the late Willard and Norma (Miller) Sommers. Mary was a member of Crosshill Mennonite Church. Beloved wife of the late Newton Gingrich (1979) and the late Ervin N. Erb (2002). Dear mother of Daryl and Bonnie Gingrich and their children Kristi, Kody and Kyle of Rathwell, Manitoba, Duane and Evelyn Gingrich and their children David and Nicole of St. John's, Nfld. , Diane Hett and her children Brandon, Shannon and Thomas of Kitchener and Dennis Gingrich and Luann Good Gingrich and their children Caleb and Rachel of Kitchener. Also remembered by step-children, Paul and Ruby Erb of Bracebridge, Gerald and Barbara Erb of Thunder Bay, Laverne and Doreen Erb of RR 1, Millbank, Ross and Wendy Erb of RR 1, Shakespeare, Eunice and Earl Gerber of Bamberg and by 17 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by sisters, Bonnie and Vern Ratzloff of Arizona and Idella Troyer of Michigan and by brother-in-law, Sam Cutrell of Colorado. Mary is lovingly remembered by her Gingrich and Erb brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as by many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by sister, Waneta Cutrell and by brother-in-law Wilbur Troyer. Friends and relatives will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St. , New Hamburg, tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p. m. and again Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. On Monday, October 27, 2003 a family burial service will be held at 16th Line East Zorra Mennonite Church, RR 1, Tavistock prior to the memorial service at 2 p. m. , with Pastor Jamie Gerber officiating.
