  FORMER ELMIRA WOMAN DEAD REMAINS BROUGHT TO EMIRA AND BURIED HERE There passed away at her home in Hanover, last Friday, Alberta Hedrich, beloved wife of Simon Gingrich. She had been ill for a long time and had suffered intensely from that dread disease, cancer. The deceased was born in Elmira thirty-three years ago, the youngest daughter of the late Nicholas Hedrich and Mrs. Selina Hedrich. After her marriage to Mr. Simon Gingrich she removed to Hanover with her husband who had bought a business there. Besides her sorrowing husband and an infant daughter nearly two years old she leaves to mourn her early departure, her mother, one sister and four brothers, namely Erma (Mrs. Jacob Eisenbach) of Brantford, Henry John and Fred of Elmira and Herbert of Kitchener. The remains were brought from Hanover to Elmira on Monday, to the home of Mr. John Hedrich, where a service was held on Monday afternoon after which interment took place in Elmira Union cemetery. Rev. A. Gallmeier conducted the services. The following acted as pallbearers: Messrs. F. C. Ruppel, H. O. Weichel, O. Holzwarth, O. Weismiller, A. A. Ullyot and Roy Eix. Comment: The first name of Mrs. Gingrich's sister was blurred in the obituary. The name showed the following E??ma.
