  Mrs. Christian Kropf Following an illness of about three months, caused by a stroke, Mrs. Christian Kropf passed away at her home here last Friday morning aged 68 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Roth of East Zorra, where she was born on April 2nd, 1879. On January 13, 1903, she was married to Christian R. Kropf. They resided in East Zorra and later moved to New Hamburg and then Kitchener, returning to New Hamburg a few years ago. She was a member of Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church, Kitchener. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. A. A. Perrin, Kitchener; a granddaughter; a great grandson; a brother, Jos. Roth, New Hamburg, and three sisters, Mrs. Abraham Lichti, New Hamburg, Mrs. Joel Lichti and Mrs. Nicholas Lichti, Tavistock. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon with private service at the home at 2 o'clock, followed by service at Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church, Kitchener. Internment was in First Mennonite Church Cemetery, Kitchener. Rev. Andrew Shelly conducted the services. New Hamburg Independent, January 9, 1948
