- Funeral Services Today For Mrs. Elise Hahn
Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran church near Dresden for Mrs. Elise Hahn," resident of the Dresden area since. 1894, who died Monday, August 22, 1955, in a Langdon hospital where she had been confined for two days. She had been in ill health. for the past month.
Rev. David P. Wasgatt, jr., will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be five grandsons of the deceased, Robert Hahn, Arthur Hahn, jr., Richard Hahn. "Harold Moe and Edward Bodnár and a grandnephew, Raymond Koehn. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery. 1
Mrs. Hahn, the former Elise Louise Ruebesam, was born Aprill 30,1866, in Niederhone, Germany. She immigrated with her parents to Ontario in 1880 and on March 13, 1884, married Charles Hahn at Zurich, Ont. They moved to Cavalier county in 1894 and homesteaded on a farm near Dresden. They retired from farming in 1930 and moved into Dresden village where Mrs. Hahn has lived since. Mr. Hahn died February 17, 1937.
Survivors include three children, Arthur, Amanda and Emma Hahn, all of Dresden, nine grandchildren
