  BOWMAN, Velina (Mrs. Elam L.) Peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at her home, R.R.#1, Wallenstein at the age of 93 years. Wife of the late Elam L. Bowman (February 17, 2011). Mother of Esther Bowman of R.R.#1, Wallenstein, Paul (Adeline) Martin of R.R.#4, Elmira, Aden (Elsie) Bowman of R.R.#1, Wallenstein, Anson Bowman of Kitchener, Elmeda (Harvey) Martin, Erla (Amsey) Martin all of R.R.#2, Mount Forest, Seleda (Herman) Brubacher, Melinda (Onias) Martin of R.R.#1, West Montrose. Also survived by 54 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren. Sister of Maryann (Sidney) Bowman, Elizabeth (Noah) Bearinger and sister-in-law of Maryann (Manasseh) Wideman, Lucinda (Mahlon) Martin, Clayton and Delilah Bowman. Pre- deceased by her parents Menno and Elizabeth (Bowman) Wideman, one daughter, Elizabeth Martin, one brother, two sisters, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, one sister in infancy, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the home of Aden Bowman, 7528 Line 86, on Thursday (today) from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, April 19th from 2-5 p.m. where family service will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 9 a.m., then to South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
