  MARTIN, Owen S. - Peacefully, on Friday, June 1, 2007 at his home. Owen S. Martin, in his 94th year, of Hawkesville. Husband of the late Martha (Wideman) Martin (1990). Father of Selina Martin, Orlan and Edna Martin, all of Hawkesville, Esther and Oliver Bowman of RR 3, Wallenstein, Sarah W. Martin of Elmira, Salome and Ivan B. Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein, Melvin and Esther Martin of Desboro, Lovina and Osiah Horst of Cobden, Seleda and Elo Martin of RR 1, Mount Forest, Bertha and Ivan Weber of RR 3, Paisley, Cleason and Salome Martin, Clarence and Carolyn Martin all of RR 3, Mount Forest. Also survived by his 51 grandchildren and 84 great-grandchildren. Owen was the last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by his parents, Ezra and Judith (Sauder) Martin; twin sister, Betty (1998); three brothers, Abram, Menno and Philip and his son, Edward (2002). Friends may call at the home of Ivan B. Martin, RR 3, Wallenstein on Sunday from 1-8 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Monday morning, June 4 at 9 a.m. then to the South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
