      PRESTON, Dec.18\emdash A resident of Preston and district for the past 55 years, Mrs. Margaret Lang, Salyerds, widow of the late Edward Burgess Salyerds, passed away at the home of Harry Hindson on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Salyerds, who was 76 years of age, was well known in Preston. Her death followed an illness of about 4.5 months. She was a member of St. Cement's R.C. church. Surviving are two sons, Edward C. Salyerds of Preston and Courtland J. Salyerds of Avoca, N.Y., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in June, 1935. The funeral will take place from the home of her son, E. C. Salyerds, 335 Laurel street, Preston, on Tuesday, with requiem high mass in St. Clement's RC. church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the Preston cemetery.
