  BRUBACHER, Elam Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Elam Brubacher in his 66th year, of Elmira, is the beloved husband of Margaret (Bauman) Brubacher. Loving father of Sharlene of Kitchener, Sandra and Darren Gingrich of RR 2, Wallenstein, Brian, Shirley and Brenda all of Elmira. Adored grandfather of Brayden Gingrich. Also survived by his mother Lovina (Weber) Brubacher of St. Jacobs, his brother Allan and Anna Brubacher, his sisters Alice "Allie" Brubacher and Eva and David Cressman, brothers-in-law Leonard and Elsie Bauman, Robert and Loreen Bauman, Cecil and Ruthann Bauman, Darrell and Karen Bauman. Predeceased by his father Tilman Brubacher (1980), one sister Martha in infancy, his father-in-law Norman Bauman (1990) and his mother-in-law Viola Bauman (2002). The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 2: 30 - 6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The family funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the funeral home chapel, then to Martin's Mennonite Meeting House, Waterloo for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the 5th and 6th floor at Grand River Hospital for their kindness and care.
