  Horst, Edna (Schallhorn) ~ Died peacefully at her home in Wallenstein on Friday, September 28, 2012 in her 92nd year. She was the wife of the late Henry S. Horst. Dear mother of Harvey and Mary Horst of RR 2, Wallenstein, Verna Sauder of RR 1, Wallenstein, Florence and Elo Sauder of Wallenstein, Floyd and Marie Horst of Wallenstein, Erla and Melvin Knorr of Elmira. Fondly remembered by 38 grandchildren and 91 great-grandchildren. Survived by her stepbrother Rueben (Hannah) Bauman of RR 2, Drayton, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Elam Horst of RR 1, Elmira, Noah Horst of RR 4, Elmira, Barbara (Alvin) Martin of RR 3, Holyrood, Annie (Joe) Gingrich of RR 2, Drayton. Predeceased by one son in infancy, four sisters, one brother, three grandchildren, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Monday, October 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., then on Tuesday, October 2nd at her home in Wallenstein, 7263 Line 86 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private service will be held at her home on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 9 a.m. then to the Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
