    • Arthur O. Ruppel, 68, of 9 Amos Ave., Waterloo, died at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., today.

      Born in Elmira, Dec. 9, 1897, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Ruppel, he lived in the Kitchener-Waterloo area all his life. He was employed as production manager and sales representative of Waterloo Manufacturing for about 20 years, then as sales representative for New Idea Farm Equipment for 10 years.

      For the past year had been salesman for E.L. Hoppe Real Estate. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. His first wife, the former Henrietta Schmidt, predeceased him.

      Survived are his second wife, the former Reva Tonchin; one son, Norman A. of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Wilfred (Audrey) white of Galt; one brother, Louis of Elmira; three sisters Mrs. Rosetta Lossner of California, Mrs. Max (Lillian) Herz of Waterloo, and Mrs. Alvin (Loretta) Brubacher of Elmira, and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      The body will be at the Schreiter Sandrock funeral Home after 2 pm Saturday until removal Monday to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church at 1 pm for service at 2 pm.

      Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Rev. F.W. Zinck will officiate.
