  HORST, Edwin Died peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his home (RR#5 Lucknow), in his 87th year. Father of Nancy (Amsey) Bauman of Gladstone, M.B., Minerva (Aaron) Bauman of RR#2 Wallenstein, Ervin (Lena) Horst of RR#1 Newton, Salome (Alvin) Weber of Gladstone M.B., the late Noah (Velina) Horst of RR#1 Holyrood, MaryAnn (Noah) Martin of RR#5 Lucknow, Elvina (John) Martin of RR#4 Listowel. Also survived by 49 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. Brother of Elam Horst, Noah Horst, Barbara (Mrs. Alvin) Martin and Anna (Mrs. Joseph) Gingerich. Brother-in-law of Edna Horst. Predeceased by his wife Anna Martin (2010), one son Noah Horst and by his parents, Noah and Anna Horst, two brothers, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held on March 22, 2011 at 9: 30 AMDS at the home of Noah Martin, then to Langside Mennonite Meeting House for further services and burial at the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
