  ELMIRA, May 11.-Mrs. Louis Beisel, nee Adeline Eix, age 87, died early this morning at her home in Elmira. She had been in failing health for several years. She was born near Hawkesville on the Eix homestead where she lived until her marriage to Louis Beisel in 1874. Following her marriage, she resided in Woolwich Township and later on the Beisel farm one mile west of Elmira until 16 years ago, when the family moved to Elmira. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. Her husband predeceased her four years ago. Surviving are four sons, William, Addison, Norman and Theodore of Elmira, two daughters, Mrs. Jacob Ritter (Catherine) of near Conestogo and Mrs. Arthur Klinck, (Parseda?) of Elmira, two brothers, Henry Eix of Elmira, and Charles Eix of Detroit, and two sisters, Mrs. Amos Eby and Mrs. John Ritter of Elmira. There are also 18? grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren surviving. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from her late residence, Church Street West, with memorial service at St. James Lutheran Church. The burial will take place in the Elmira Cemetery. Rev. L. H. Kalbfleisch will officiate. The body is resting at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel until Friday morning.
