Notes - On Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital in her 87th year. Elmina (Martin) Brubacher was the beloved wife of the late Jacob Brubacher (1947). Loved mother of Paul Brubacher and his wife Norma of Maple, Ontario. Loving grandmother to Peter, Andrew and Rosemary all at home. Dear sister of Maryann Martin and her husband the late Samuel (2004), Wayne and his wife Naomi, both of Elmira, Lovina Ruttan and her husband the late Leo (2005) of Fordwich, Anson and his wife Sharon Noble of Stratford, and Mervin and his wife Alma of Listowel. Also loving remembered by her sister-in-law Erma (Mrs. Milton) Martin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Abner (in infancy), Leander, Milton, Onias, a sister Adeline Martin, and her parents Ezra E. and Louisa (Bauman) Martin. Friends will be received at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday, May 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 26, at 1 p.m. followed by services in the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House and interment in the adjoining cemetery. The family would like to thank all the friends and relatives who visited during her illness.
