  Wedded 50 Years Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hendry, of Waterloo, Celebrate Their Golden Wedding Married in Trinity Church, Galt Tuesday two of Waterloo's most respected citizens in the persons of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hendry celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Hendry were married on Oct. 20th (a Sunday) 50 years ago in the Church of England, Galt, and have lived in Waterloo township ever since and have been citizens of Waterloo town for the past 11 years. Mrs. (Dr.) Passmore and Mrs. (Rev.) Yoemans of Toronto, daughters of the happy couple arrived at the home of their parents Monday evening and a son, Charles Hendry, jr., of Stirton, arrived Tuesday. The many friends, of Mr. and Mrs. Hendry throughout the country no doubt wish them many happy returns of the day and hope that both may live to see many more anniversaries of their starting day. - Record.
