    • A WELL KNOWN COUNTY PIONEER WATERLOO

      Another of the old Waterloo pioneers has passed away in the person of Mr. Hubbard Cornell, whose death took place at Guelph on Wednesday. Deceased was quite until strickened with paralysis, which resulted in his death. Mr. Cornell will be well remembered, in this section and Preston as for many years he owned a farm near the Pine Grove school, on the road to Preston. Mrs. Cornell predeceased her husband years ago, and was interred near Bluevale, Mr. Cornell's Interment also took place. Mr. Cornell was the head of large family, the following being present at the funeral - Erastus and Robert, of Freeport; John of Branchton; Hubbard, Jr., Puslinch; Wesley, Bluevale; and Thomas. Âåsides the six sons there are left bereft several daughters - Mrs. Jas. Steep, Guelph; Mrs. W. Stalbaum, of Preston, and several others in Bluevale.
