- ROTH, Ethel Passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at her residence Nithview Community, New Hamburg. Ethel was formerly of Baden and was born 88 years ago in Wilmot Township. She was the daughter of the late Arthur K. and Lilly (Witmer) Snyder. Beloved wife of the late Henry Roth who predeceased her October 29, 1990. Loving mother of Connie and Rick Shantz of Baden, Pat and Bob Roi of R.R. # 1 Millgrove, Wanda Zwaag and Howie Brohman of Kitchener, Brian and Deborah Roth of New Hamburg, Sandy and James Shantz of Baden, Dennis and Luanne Roth of St. Agatha, Marcia and Chris Kastner of Baden. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Missed by her sister Ruth and Lorne Bowman of Kitchener, brother Vernice and Myrtle Snyder of New Hamburg, brothers-in-law Silvin Roth, Freeman and Carolyn Roth and Jack Watson. Ethel was predeceased by a daughter Penny, granddaughter Sherri Ann Roi, sister Pearl and Delford Bechtel, brother Ray, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Ruby Roth, Nelson and Helen Roth, Luella and Lloyd Zehr and Nelda Watson. Ethel was a member of Wilmot Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday August 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family interment in Wilmot Mennonite Cemetery will take place prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Wilmot Mennonite Church, (2995 Bleams Road, New Hamburg) with Pastor Gerald Schwartzentruber officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee. A special thank you to the staff at Nithview Community for your wonderful and compassionate care for our mom and our family.
