    • WEAVER, Roy E. Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2012, age 78 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie (Karn 1992), his parents Wesley and Viletta (Bowman) Weaver, brothers Withrow and Ira, and sisters Irene Martin and Ruby Weaver. Sadly missed by sisters Ruth (Eli) Burkhart of Floradale, Reta (Frank) Weber of Elmira, sister-in-law Stella Weaver of Listowel, and his cherished friend of many years, Marie Fleet and family. Survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Roy retired from B.F. Goodrich and Epton Industries. He enjoyed travelling, seeing many parts of the world, as well as summers at Grand Bend and Sauble Beach. He was an avid fisherman, an active member of Rockway Seniors Centre playing shuffle board and cribbage, and enjoyed swimming and walking. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. A memorial service to celebrate Roy's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, June 7th at 2 p.m. A family burial will precede the service. A reception in the funeral home's Fireside Room and a time to share memories will follow immediately after the service. Donations can be directed to the Roy Weaver Charitable Foundation, thereby supporting charities of Roy's choice.
