- PRESTON DEATH
Preston, March 8 - Death came quickly in her 73rd year to Maria Kiefhaber, wife of the late Thomas Charles Town, who passed away suddenly in her sleep early to-day. Born in Blair. Mrs. Town lived in Buffalo for before moving to Preston. She is survived by one Mrs. John Sipes, New Hamburg, one brother. Edward Kiefhaber, Peru, Indiana, and one son. Edward, Preston.

The funeral of the late Maria Kiefhaber, relict of the late Thomas Charles Town who passed away suddenly early Tuesday morning in her 73rd year was held at 2.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the late residence 540 Vine street to the Blair cemetery where interment was made.
Rev. W. H. Knauff of St. Peter's Lutheran church conducted services at both the house and the graveside.
The pallbearers were Mesers. Harry and Lorne Brubacher of Kitchener: Adam Reid of Preston; Carl Kiefhaber and James Johannes of Blair and Austin Bricker of Roseville.

Preston Obituary
MRS. MARIA TOWN
Passing peacefully away in her sleep at her home, 540 Vine street, Mrs. Maria Town, widow of the late Thomas Charles Town, was found in her 73rd year and had been a dead in bed this morning. a She was resident of Preston for the past nine years coming here from Buffalo where she had resided for some 40 years.
Mrs. Town's death. came unexpectedly. She had been in good health up to the time of her passing, going about her daily home duties with much interest. The deceased was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and was connected with the Ladies' Aid Society of that church.
She was born in Blair. Besides one son, Edward of Preston there survives one sister, Mrs. John Sipes of New Hamburg and one brother, Edward Kiefhaber of Peru. Indiana.
The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from her late residence where service will be held. Interment will be made in Preston cemetery. Rev. W. H. Knauff will officiate.
