MARTIN, Amsey W. - Peacefully, on Friday, May 22, 2009, at his home, RR 1, Elmira. Amsey W. Martin, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Nancy Martin for almost 45 years. Father of Anna and Elmer Sauder of RR 5, Mount Forest, Lena and Robert Martin of RR 6, Mount Forest, Ellen and Lloyd Martin of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Katie and Delton Sauder of RR 5, Mount Forest, Mary and Mark Weber of RR 1, Elmira, Selema and Clayton Martin of RR 1, Waterloo. Also survived by 26 grandchildren. Brother of Elam and Luella Martin, Salome and Christian Martin, Elvina and Owen Martin. Predeceased by his parents, Onias and Katie Martin; one son in infancy. Friends called at his home on Sunday and may call today (Monday) from 12 noon - 5 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning, May 26, 2009, at 9 a.m. then to the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira.
