  Mrs. Henry Wahl Dies in Wallace The death occurred in Wallace on Friday, February 25th, of Elizabeth Dorothea Kritzer, relict of the late Henry D. Wahl, in her 87th year, followirg an illness of eight years with rheumatism, during the most of which time she I was confined to her bed. Mrs. Wahl was born in Dauermstadt, Germany, and came to Canada about sixty-nine years ago Shortly after she was married to Henry D. Wahl, who predeceased her about four years ago. Deceased is the last survivor of the first settlers in the Queen's bush, and for at least 52 years she has been a resident of lot 52, concession 3, Wallace. The surviving family consists of three sons and two daughters, George K. and Albert, of Listowel: John with whom deceased resided; Mrs. K. Doersam and Mrs. John Timm of Wallace. The funeral was held on Tuesday to the Lutheran cemetery, Kurtzille, Rev, Mr: Kutter, pastor of the Kurtzville church, officiating. Listowel Banner 2 Mar 1916
