  Sophia Glick (nee Houk) passed to her heavenly home June 14, 1911, just as the sun was sinking in the western sky. She had been a sufferer for over five years with paralysis. A helpless invalid. She passed without a struggle. She had been a member of the Evangelical Association for over sixty years. She came from Germany when eleven years old and lived with her parents near St. Jacobs, Ontario, until she was married to Theobald Glick, December 25, 1840. Her husband died October 29, 1895, since which she has lived with us and my wife has been her nurse. She has gone home. Many have known of her suffering and I take this means of informing our friends of her death. She has relatives in Michigan and Canada as well as other parts that may see this note.
