      Lieut. Clarence M. Pasmore Has Returned to Duty.


      Official notice to the effect that Lieut. Clarence M. Pasmore, formerly a Toronto newspaper man, is slightly wounded but still on duty, was received by his mother. Mrs. L. O. Pasmore. of 514 Pape avenue. He went overseas with Lieut. Col. F. L. Burton's Bantam Battalion, but was subsequently transferred to another Toronto unit at the front. On the morning of his departure for overseas, rather than be left behind as a supernumary officer, he reverted to the rank of sergeant, but regained his rank soon after leaving Toronto, Details of his mishap are not yet to hand.
