Mrs. Joseph Studer passed to final rest at midnight Saturday.
Had lived in St. Cloud, MN forpast fifteen years and few months. Stricken mortally ill at 7 pm Friday (1915) and saying goodbye to all her children before unconsciousness overtook her at three o'clock Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Joseph Studer passed to her final rest at nighnight that night. She had been a resident of St. Cloud, MN for the past fifteen years. She was born at St. Agatha, Canada. Her maiden name being Catherine Hoffer. When fifteen years of age she accompanied her parents to Lena, IL where she resided until she married Joseph Studer, January 2, 1872. They then moved to Harden county, IA. Three years later they moved to Wesley, IA. In 1900 they moved to St.Cloud, MN. The deceased is survived by her husband, nine children, her aged father, N. Hoffer of Ackley, IA, seven sisters and four brothers.The children are: Edward, Corwith, IA; William J., George N., Joseph A.,Eugene M., Leo C., all of St. Cloud, MN; Albert G., Sioux Falls, S.D.;Mrs. Edward Huber, Wesley, IA, and Mrs. Andrew J. Engels, St. Cloud, MN. The brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Jos. Loebig, Wesley, IA, Mrs. Edward Spangler, Ackley, IA, Mrs. Edward Igow, Mason City, IA, Mrs. John Heaverly, Wesley, IA, Mrs. Frank Huber, Tikonta, IA, Joseph Hoffer,Waterloo, IA, William Hoffer, Wesley, IA, Edward Hoffer, Sauk Rapids, MN,and Jacob Hoffer, Lismore MN. She leave 35 grandchildren. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at nine o'clock from the Cathedral. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery. The following will act as pallbearers: Thomas Richardson, George Gulde, Frank Fulde, Chas.Weber, August Brick and A.A. Eich.__Marriage:_Joseph and Catherine were perhaps married by Father Batloff1
