Notes |
- Mary Ann Hagey, "was born July 28th, 1845. She was married to Saruch Eby, a teacher. Not finding teaching so agreeable to his taste, in later years, he entered partnership with his brother-in-law, Mr. Joseph Haug, to engage in manufacturing woollen goods in Nottawa, Ontario. Here he died March 21st, 1883, and she died at the home of her parents, June 15th, 1884. They had a family of six children, namely:... and Wesley, who died a few weeks after his father."
Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
