- STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. - During the storm on Tuesday morning on the farm of Mr. Benjamin Krupp about two miles south of Dundee, the lightning struck a team of horses that were ploughing. The horses both dropped dead jerking the driver Mr. Wicket upon the plow. The electric current entered his leg about the knee and passed down the leg and through the foot. Three men were plowing in close succession, Mr. Wicket being the first. The other two ran to his assistance and carried him to Mr. Krupp's house. Dr. Millar was immediately summoned. The young man is expected to recover.
